Description
An engrossing mystery of one woman’s obsession with another woman’s husband that can only end in disaster.
Maggi French is a film star on the rise. She has everything but the one thing she wants most- her lover, real estate mogul and art-eros film studio owner Kurt Wilder, a married man. She knows a lot about Voodoo and means to use it to satisfy her lust for power and her need to marry Kurt. She will kill his wife if it becomes necessary. She doesn’t care who she hurts to get what she wants. But someone is hurt too badly and strikes back with a vengeance. Could it be her lover Kurt?
Then there is the lead detective on Maggi’s case, Detective Lieutenant Frank Ryman. He knew her intimately-and hated her. But he has his own entanglements with his lover, the beautiful assistant district attorney Jaysa Rhine. The Maggi French case is one of the strangest and most baffling murders he has tried to solve. The roots lead all the way to Port-au-Prince Haiti. The detective is accused of killing Maggi. Did Frank lose it in a moment of rage? Even he knows it could have happened.
"Dying on the Edge is filled with shocking situations and romantic and emotional love so intense that it pushes the heroine, Maggi French over the edge. Dying on the Edge is sure to keep readers on the edge of their seats, turning pages and searching for other works by Francine Craft."

"Dying on the Edge has style! Craft gives a grand lesson in love, lust, and the power of persuasion. Craft is a good writer and a skilled storyteller. I appreciate her keen insight to religious complexity, vodoo culture, detective work, and her extremely rigorous and skilled research...I applaud Craft for her daring leap and her fierce courage to be original, fresh, and gutsy. Bravo!
